Vanessa of Vanessa Voth Photography is a lover of all things unique and beautiful. She loves weddings that are unqiue, creative and beautiful, and adores it when her couples take their weddings to a new level, breaking out of the traditional, cookie-cutter mould that most weddings are these days. Being newer to the industry, she wanted to plan, organise and style a shoot that incorporated all the aspects that she loves about weddings, and we couldn’t be happier that she chose to share this beautiful vision of a styled shoot with us!
The inspiration for this shoot began with a twig plate charger that she had found at a local craft store. From there, the vision of feathers and nests grew. She contacted her favourite vendors, and together, they collaborated to make the perfect wedding scene.
Most of the decor for the shoot was DIY to show brides that you can have gorgeous for cheaper. The table runners were a crocheted table cloth she bought at the thrift store and cut into lengths. Vanessa cut the chiffon to overlay the fabric herself. Even the cloth napkins were DIY. Most of the table decor and the few props were items the vendors and she had lying around their homes. So simple, so cheap, so beautiful!
The bride and groom in the shoot, Melody and Eric, have been married for eight years. They did a “First Look”, and the two of them were cuter than ever!
